AnySpan is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file transfer tool. We do not store, inspect, or route your files, texts, or clipboard data through our servers. All transfers happen directly between your trusted devices on your local network. This is the core of our design: your data never touches our infrastructure.
When you purchase a premium license, our payment processor, Paddle, collects your email address to issue your license. We do not store your credit card information; all card handling is performed by Paddle under its own security and compliance standards.
We collect a hashed, anonymous hardware identifier purely to manage your device-group quota (for example, the 10-device limit on Pro plans). This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally.
Our website uses no intrusive trackers. If we later introduce optional analytics, it will be limited to aggregate, anonymized usage counts and will be disclosed here.
Because we do not store your transferred data, there is nothing to retain. Billing records are retained by Paddle as required by applicable law and their own retention policies.
